As a close partner of the Pacific Community’s Digital Earth Pacific, Auspatious contributes to the technical foundations that enable Pacific Island Countries and Territories to access, process, and apply satellite data for environmental monitoring and decision-making.
Since 2023, our ongoing engagement has spanned strategy, infrastructure, data products, and capacity-building largely centred around the collaborative development and delivery of the Digital Earth Pacific Technical Roadmap.

A key part of the Roadmap development was to chart the direction for cloud-native Earth observation infrastructure. Our expertise in building cloud-native systems was instrumental in the platform migration from Azure in Europe to AWS in the US. This move brought the platform closer to USGS and NASA data, cutting costs and improving performance for Pacific users.
We have delivered key data products the program and its partners depend on, including the Digital Earth Pacific Satellite Derived Bathymetry dataset and Sentinel-2 Geometric Median and Median Absolute Deviations cloud-free mosaics.

Alongside our technical contributions, we enjoy supporting the Digital Earth Pacific program through developing skills and mentoring the Digital Earth Pacific team, and collaborating with Digital Earth Pacific on broader international engagement. It is a privilege to work with a team doing genuinely important work for some of the world’s most climate-exposed communities, and we remain committed to this partnership.
